The Turpentine Ray and their bio.
Classified as "Turbine-Room Folk Muisc", The Turpentine Ray mix a number of genres, namely folk, country and a dash of sea shanty. Their primary instrumentation revolves around guitar, banjo, cello, resonator and drums.
With members hailing from different corners of the world - San Francisco, Chicago, Birmingham and Prague - The Turpentine Ray call Prague home, and that is where they originally formed, meeting and playing together (prior to the creation of their band) in various projects within the tightly knit Prague music scene.
Stay tuned for the official Turpentine Ray book!
Topics covered include, but are not limited to:
Long days and nights in the sausage factory. The band meets. The members and their common love of the Speedo. The tragic death of the kazoo player. The cellist cries out for a sex change, in a sideways fashion. A fork in the road, followed by a spoon and a plate. The first, middle and last TV dinner. The band dyes their hair a shade of ginger.
''Born in the holler they were, says I. Four sons, three mothers, a couple of cousins and one crap-kicking country-fried folk band.'' [THE END]
