February 30, 2013 - We now carry our own Turpentine Ray elixir: the band agreed to lends it's name to this product after it substantially reduced the size of our drummers 'touch of gout.' Works wonders on hangnails, forgetfulness, adult colic, will set a broken heart on the mend, etc.

New Music Video, Space Station Mir, Released!
June 26, 2012 - The Turpentine Ray have released the first music video from their CD 'The First TV Dinner.' The tune in question, 'Space Station Mir,' is a tale in which the band recounts, in song form, long days and nights spent in God's Own Drunk Tank. The video is directed by Emile Rafael and produced by Emile along with Kieran D'Arcy. http://vimeo.com/44649501

The Turpentine Ray and their bio.
Classified as "Turbine-Room Folk Muisc", The Turpentine Ray mix a number of genres, namely folk, country and a dash of sea shanty. Their primary instrumentation revolves around guitar, banjo, cello, resonator and drums.
With members hailing from different corners of the world - San Francisco, Chicago, Birmingham and Prague - The Turpentine Ray call Prague home, and that is where they originally formed, meeting and playing together (prior to the creation of their band) in various projects within the tightly knit Prague music scene.
